WorldPing is an independently owned and operated publication. This page sets out who is behind it and how it pays for itself.

Ownership

WorldPing is privately owned and independently operated by its founder, who also acts as editor. It is not owned by, funded by or editorially influenced by any media group, political organisation, advertiser or investor.

Funding

The site is self-funded by its owner. We plan to introduce standard display advertising in future. Advertising, if and when it runs, will be clearly distinguishable from editorial content and will have no influence over what we cover, how we cover it or which sources we monitor. We do not accept payment for coverage, links or placement in briefs.

Relationship with the newsrooms we summarise

WorldPing has no commercial relationship with the publishers whose reporting it summarises. We link to them, credit them by name and make no claim over their copyright. See our editorial policy for the detail.
